We are pleased to announce that Masaki Okamoto, Representative Director and CEO of Boston Medical Sciences Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "the Company"), received the Grand Prix at the "RISING STAR AWARD 2026" event, hosted by Forbes JAPAN. The event, targeting startup entrepreneurs founded within three years, was held on April 16 at Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo.

Entrepreneurs expected to grow into next-generation unicorn companies presented at this event. From over 130 applicants, seven companies that passed the preliminary screening by the Forbes JAPAN editorial department proceeded to pitch. The judging panel consisted of four investors selected for the 2026 edition of "Japan's Most Influential Venture Investors Ranking," annually published by the magazine.
