BYD Auto Japan Launches Exhibition Caravan for Light EV 'BYD RACCO'

BYD Auto Japan (BAJ) announced that it will host a vehicle exhibition caravan for the new light EV 'BYD RACCO', scheduled for release this summer, at large commercial facilities nationwide starting May 30, 2026.

Prior to this, BAJ will exhibit the 'BYD RACCO' at the 'Le Volant Cars Meet 2026 Yokohama' to be held at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse on May 30 and 31, 2026. Following this debut, BAJ will launch a 'Nationwide Exhibition Caravan' to allow more customers to view the car before its official launch. Visitors at each venue who complete a survey regarding BYD will receive an original bottle drink.

Additionally, a new campaign related to the 'BYD RACCO' is scheduled to begin on May 30. Further details will be announced sequentially.

About 'BYD RACCO'

'BYD RACCO' is a light EV specifically developed for the Japanese market, set for release this summer by BAJ. Utilizing a dedicated design to meet Japanese kei-car standards, it is the first passenger light EV model in the Japanese market to feature a super-tall wagon body with sliding doors. The vehicle has been developed based on in-depth research into Japanese road environments and lifestyles, emphasizing spacious interior, cruising performance, safety, and daily usability.
