Caica Financial Holdings (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Shin Suzuki) has decided to hold the 10th edition of the 'NFT Manga Project' in collaboration with Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha and Jitsugyo no Nihon Digital to support emerging manga artists.
The 10th edition will feature former comedian and manga artist Toshikazu Sakamoto with his daily short comedy manga, 'THE Kissaten,' set in a coffee shop.
Work Introduction: 'THE Kissaten' Set in an old-fashioned coffee shop called 'Ma no Cafe,' the series portrays the 'trivial conversations' between the taciturn master, Ko Hinoki, and the unique customers who stop by. It is a healing manga that provides a gentle break for readers living in the busy modern world.
Manga Artist Introduction: Toshikazu Sakamoto A former comedian who has worked at a coffee shop for nearly 20 years. Drawing on his experience as a comedian, this work has gained empathy from many readers. He continues to work as an illustrator.
Project Mechanism: This is a new form of publishing where readers directly support the publication of the work by purchasing NFTs. If the goal is achieved, publication is confirmed, and a portion of the royalties earned from the work is returned to NFT holders.
