Overview Calbee, Inc. (HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nobu Ebara) held a fan meeting as part of the Calbee 'Fan With! Project', designed to foster deeper connections with the brand's fans.

As the first event of the 2026 fiscal year, a potato harvest experience was held on Saturday, May 23, at a field in Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture, with approximately 50 fans in attendance.

Project Background Since its founding in 1949, Calbee has released numerous products. To meet fans and deepen connections, the nationwide 'Fan With! Project' was launched in 2024.

In the 2025 fiscal year, events resulted in an average increase in post-event product purchases of 153% compared to pre-event levels, demonstrating high engagement. Given these results, the project will continue in the 2026 fiscal year.

Details of the Kumamoto Event The first 2026 event featured a potato harvest in Tamana City. To commemorate the inaugural Kumamoto session, Mayor Takahiro Kurahara of Tamana City greeted the participants.

The program included presentations on the Kyushu branch's initiatives and activities with contract farmers, as well as an original quiz tournament.

How to Apply Applications are processed through the 'Calbee Ruby Program' smartphone app. Users can earn points (rubies) by folding and scanning empty bags of qualifying products. One entry requires 500 rubies, and winners can bring up to four guests (five people per group).
