Canon ITS Employees Selected for AWS Certification Recognition and Awards Program

Canon IT Solutions Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Suyama; hereinafter referred to as Canon ITS), part of the Canon Marketing Japan Group, announced that its employees have been recognized in Amazon Web Services (AWS) "2026 Japan AWS Top Engineers" and "2026 Japan All AWS Certifications Engineers" programs. Akihiko Sano was selected for "2026 Japan AWS Top Engineers" for the second consecutive year, and eight engineers, including those selected for "2026 Japan All AWS Certifications Engineers" for four consecutive years, were recognized, highlighting Canon ITS's sustained high level of AWS technical expertise.

AWS Japan annually conducts an awards and certification program for engineers with extensive AWS knowledge belonging to APN participating companies.

Akihiko Sano, an employee of Canon ITS, was selected for "2026 Japan AWS Top Engineers" for the second consecutive year, recognized for his continued high technical skills and achievements. This award targets engineers who hold specific AWS certifications and contribute to the expansion of AWS-related business.

Furthermore, eight engineers were selected for "2026 Japan All AWS Certifications Engineers," a program for engineers who hold all AWS certifications. Hiroyuki Tanaka was selected for the fourth consecutive year, Tatsuya Oshima and Naoki Hara for the second consecutive year, Rikuito Yamada for the second time after a two-year interval, and Sadaharu Ikeda, Ryo Uno, Yusuke Nakagami, and Takayuki Fukumori were selected for the first time. Amidst the increasing number of AWS certifications and the growing difficulty of obtaining and maintaining all of them, the selection of four new engineers, in addition to those continuously recognized over multiple years, reaffirms the high level of AWS technical expertise at Canon ITS.

Canon ITS joined the APN in 2015 and, as an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, has provided system construction and related services utilizing AWS. The company supports customers in reducing operational burdens and efficiently utilizing the cloud, striving to achieve a sustainable business environment through resource optimization and improved operational efficiency.
