Canon IT Solutions Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Suyama; hereinafter “Canon ITS”), a member of the Canon Marketing Japan Group, will begin accepting applications on July 15, 2026 (Wednesday) for its internship programs to be held starting August 21, 2026 (Friday) for students expected to graduate or complete their studies in March 2028.

As part of its 2028 new graduate recruitment initiative, Canon ITS will offer three types of 5-day internship programs: “5days Internship ‘Co-Creation! Consulting’,” “5days Internship ‘Analyze! Cybersecurity’,” and “5days Internship ‘Develop! System Building with Low-Code’.” These programs aim to enhance participants’ understanding of the IT industry and Canon ITS’s business operations.

The “5days Internship ‘Co-Creation! Consulting’” is a newly introduced program this year, allowing students to experience the role of consultants who solve corporate challenges. The program includes lectures on industry insights and solutions, as well as strategic planning and discussions based on data analysis to strengthen logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Participants will also interact with actual Canon ITS consulting staff, deepening their understanding of the company’s unique consultant role that emphasizes “customer-centric” and “co-creation” approaches, engaging with clients from the upstream stages of DX strategy formulation through a data-driven perspective.

The “5days Internship ‘Analyze! Cybersecurity’” is a program focused on cybersecurity. It addresses the increasingly sophisticated and complex nature of cyber threats in today’s evolving society, offering hands-on experience in analyzing malware that is wreaking havoc globally. Participants will work alongside security specialists from the Canon ITS Cybersecurity Lab※1 to analyze cyber threats and will also learn about the work of security engineers who combat various cyberattacks.

The “5days Internship ‘Develop! System Building with Low-Code’” allows participants to experience system development using low-code development tools. As rapid and high-quality system development is essential for corporate digital transformation (DX), low-code development※2 tools—which enable the creation of complex business logic with minimal coding—are gaining attention. Canon ITS sells the “WebPerformer” series, which has ranked No. 1 in market share for 10 consecutive years※3, and has reached its 20th anniversary supported by over 1,500 customers. In this program, participants will use the cloud-based DX advancement platform “WebPerformer-NX” to experience system construction.

Canon ITS has announced its new management vision for 2030: “Co-Creation Company 2030 – Envisioning the Future. Challenging Change. Creating Value and Delivering to Society.” The company is actively recruiting talent who will join in building this “Co-Creation Company.” Canon ITS welcomes applications from students interested in the company, as well as those aspiring to become system engineers.
