Capcom has announced that new game modes 'Avatar Random Match' and 'Avatar Arcade' for Street Fighter 6 will be available on Thursday, May 28.
These modes will launch simultaneously with 'Ingrid,' the final character of Year 3.
### Avatar Random Match This mode makes 'Avatar Battles' more accessible for casual online PvP. By implementing 'Level Sync,' players' levels and base parameters are fixed to ensure a fair fighting environment. All master styles, special moves, and Super Arts (SA) are unlocked from the start, allowing players to experiment with various builds. Rewards include Avatar Points for rankings and exclusive character colors for the Fighting Ground mode.
### Avatar Arcade A dedicated mode for solo progression through CPU battles. It features two sub-modes: - **Hand-to-Hand**: Practice against masters to learn their styles and special moves. Higher difficulty settings yield better items and faster skill acquisition. - **Battle Tour**: A gauntlet of matches against masters and NPCs. Clearing courses unlocks iconic endings from across the Street Fighter series history.
This mode is ideal for leveling up and farming items. Players can also unlock 'Outfit 2' for masters by filling the acquisition gauge through victories.
Additionally, the 'Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition,' which includes DLC characters and stages from the first two years, is currently available on platforms including Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
