Capcom Releases Final Year 3 Character "Ingrid" for Street Fighter 6 and Introduces New Avatar Battle Modes

Capcom officially integrated "Ingrid," a character who first appeared in "Capcom Fighting Jam," into the three primary modes of Street Fighter 6—World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground—on May 28. Ingrid utilizes solar-based techniques and acts as a new Master in World Tour, where players can learn her moves and deepen their bond through missions.

To encounter Ingrid in World Tour, players must complete Chapter 12-1 "Kalima of the Resistance" and access the "Dimensional Girl, Descends!" mission under the "OTHER DAYS" menu. This update marks the final addition of World Tour story content for the Year 3 roadmap.

The update also introduces two new free modes: "Avatar Random Match," which features standardized stats for fair interpersonal competition, and "Avatar Arcade," a single-player mode designed for efficient avatar growth through CPU battles.

Cosmetic updates include the release of "Outfit 3" for all Year 3 additional characters: Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid. Furthermore, all users will receive the "DriveTech Wear" outfit for free. The update also implements 28 winning illustrations from the "3rd Street Fighter Illustration Contest" as customizable challenger screens.
