Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Calin Dragan; hereinafter 'the Company') has been selected as a component of the 'Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index,' which targets the Asia-Pacific region within the 'Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices,' a representative global index for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment, for the eighth consecutive year.

'Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices' is a global stock index that selects companies with excellent sustainability in their respective industries based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) conducted by US-based S&P Dow Jones Indices. This assessment evaluates companies multi-dimensionally across economic, environmental, and social aspects, serving as a global benchmark for ESG investment and a criterion for selecting important investment targets. In 2025, 162 companies (including 76 Japanese firms) were selected from approximately 600 major companies in the region, with the Company receiving high marks for its efforts in 'water,' 'human capital management,' and 'risk management.'

The Company places 'Creating Shared Value (CSV)'—which seeks to achieve both economic value through business growth and social value through the resolution of social issues—at the core of its management. The execution of specific action plans to resolve social issues led to this selection. The Company remains committed to addressing social issues through its business activities and aims to realize a sustainable society within its business domain.
