[Roppongi Tsutaya Books] Solo Exhibition "Time Collage" by Artist Kunihiko Nohara to be Held from April 10 (Fri)

Roppongi Tsutaya Books (Minato-ku, Tokyo) will hold the solo exhibition "Time Collage" by artist Kunihiko Nohara from Friday, April 10, 2026, to Thursday, April 30, 2026, on the 1st and 2nd floors. This exhibition will showcase works that give form to memories and recollections of "comfortable moments" in everyday life, centering on new wood carving pieces featuring figures wearing goggles. Through the wood carving expressions that Kunihiko Nohara has continuously produced, the exhibition proposes a time that overlaps with each viewer's own experiences.

The figures appearing in the works wear goggles, symbolically expressing moments of peace and memories that fleetingly visit us in daily life. Through sculptures created using the texture and color of wood, invisible elements such as memory and sensation are visualized, allowing viewers to engage with the works while layering their own experiences.

Featured Work "SHABON" One of the highlights of this exhibition is the wood carving work "SHABON." Standing approximately 140cm tall, this piece is carved from a single block of wood and is characterized by the presence of the material and the meticulously carved structure down to the finest details.
