Campaign for the Children of Palestine, in full cooperation with the Japan Handicraft Instructors' Association, has launched the 'KNIT4GAZA' project to send messages of support and raise funds for children in Gaza through knitting.

In 2026, the specified non-profit organization Campaign for the Children of Palestine (CCP Japan), located at Toyo Building 4F, 3-12-23 Shimo-Ochiai, Shinjuku-ku, launched the "KNIT4GAZA" project with the full cooperation of the Japan Handicraft Instructors' Association. The project is subtitled "Deliver to Gaza! Cheer with Knits! ~Knit and Connect. A Circle of Support for the Children of Gaza~".

Both during the war that lasted for over two years and now after the ceasefire, children in Gaza continue to live under harsh conditions as evacuees in tents.

Palestine is a region famous for handmade embroidery. Through the sale of handmade products made by Palestinians, the organization has been supporting the independence of women and deaf individuals, but under the current circumstances, even this is no longer possible.

Therefore, we, living in Japan, would like to deliver our "thoughts" and "relief funds" to Gaza through knitting.

1. Delivering Thoughts Through Knitting This is an action where participants knit items (motifs) infused with what they "want to give" and the "messages they want to deliver" to the children in Gaza. These motifs are then connected like a banner to send cheers and support to Gaza. The connected motifs will be lent out to museums, peace events, municipalities, schools, and various organizations within Japan.

2. Using Sales from Charity Knitworks to Support Children in Gaza Unfortunately, due to the severe situation, it is still impossible to directly deliver physical items to Gaza. Therefore, we will sell the donated knitted works and use the proceeds to support the children of Gaza.
