Cosmo Energy Solutions (a group company of Cosmo Energy Holdings), Tokyo Nohin Daiko, Daiwa Energy, and Senko announced that they launched a power project on June 1, 2026, combining an on-site PPA with an off-site PPA using surplus electricity at the 'Narita Fashion Logistics Center I' (Tomisato City, Chiba Prefecture), a logistics facility operated by Tokyo Nohin Daiko. The on-site PPA has been operational since February 27, 2024, with Daiwa Energy serving as the power generator, handling the design, procurement, construction (EPC), operation, and maintenance of the solar power equipment, while Tokyo Nohin Daiko consumes the power on-site. Previously, surplus power not consumed at the facility was sent to the power grid via the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme, but to maximize renewable energy use within the Senko Group, an off-site PPA has now been added.
