INFORICH Installs Japan's First Credit Card-Enabled 'CHARGESPOT' Kiosks at Osaka Metro

INFORICH, operator of the mobile battery sharing service 'CHARGESPOT™', installed its new 'Creca Touch 20' model, equipped with credit card touch payment functionality, at Osaka Metro's Osaka Port Station (Chuo Line) and Hommachi Station (Midosuji Line) on May 28-29, 2026. This marks the first installation of a 20-slot credit card touch payment model in Japan. In recent years, the number of inbound tourists has recovered and increased rapidly, leading to higher usage of public transportation in the Kansai area, including Osaka. There is a strong demand for cashless payments among travelers from Western countries, making credit card touch payment support crucial for both convenience and improving the inbound tourism environment. In response, INFORICH partnered with Osaka Metro to install the new 'Creca Touch 20' model alongside existing 'LL20' units. This enables a wide range of users, including international tourists, to rent mobile batteries smoothly using their own credit cards without the need for app registration.
