Sponsored the Creation of Eco-Gifts by Chiba University Environmental ISO Student Committee

The Chiba Kogyo Bank, Ltd. (President: Hitoshi Umeda) sponsored the production of original organic cotton pouches, which were distributed by the Chiba University Environmental ISO Student Committee to congratulate new students and raise environmental awareness at the 2026 Chiba University Entrance Ceremony held on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Our bank and Chiba University concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement in 2017 with the aim of promoting academic and cultural advancement, forming a vibrant regional socio-economy, and contributing to the local community.

The distributed pouches are a convenient size for holding mobile batteries and small items, and use environmentally friendly organic cotton as the material. The design compares new students to "young leaves," incorporating motifs symbolizing nature, life, and learning. Through the message "Grow yourself, Grow the future.," it expresses the consciousness of personal growth and the realization of a sustainable society. The design was created by a student from the Faculty of Law, Politics and Economics at Chiba University.

Our bank will continue to further promote initiatives that contribute to resolving environmental and social issues, and contribute to the sustainable development and prosperity of the regional economy, industry, and society.
