Also, "I want to live a calm life in a quiet and clean room" (13.3%) was 7.4 percentage points higher than for men (5.9%).

This was followed by "A town with easy access to stations, workplaces, and schools" (27.3%) and "A town where I don't have trouble shopping for daily necessities" (22.8%), with items related to affordability and convenience such as ease of access and shopping ranking high.

Furthermore, when looking at wishes for the town to live in from the perspectives of "economic factors," "convenience," and "comfort (how pleasant it is to spend time in the town)," 43.3% of respondents chose at least one of the two items related to convenience: "A town with easy access to stations, workplaces, and schools" and "A town where I don't have trouble shopping for daily necessities." On the other hand, 37.0% of respondents chose at least one of the four items related to comfort, such as "A town where I can go out freely and be myself" (13.5%), "A town with nice scenery and nature where I feel uplifted when walking" (9.5%), "A town with bright streets at night where I can return home safely" (9.5%), and "A town with places other than home where I can concentrate or change my mood" (8.0%).
