The Chugoku Bank, Ltd. (Okayama City, President: Sadanori Kato) will hold the FY2026 University Consortium Okayama "Chugin 'Financial Intelligence' Course".
This course was launched in 2006 for students from 16 universities in Okayama Prefecture belonging to the University Consortium Okayama, with the aim of "acquiring the ability to face money as independent consumers and citizens."
The lectures cover a wide range of themes to cultivate basic financial knowledge and judgment, and will be held as a summer intensive course (4 days). Furthermore, as part of the credit transfer system, the credits earned will be recognized as regular academic credits at the students' respective universities.

University Consortium Okayama Established in April 2006, this organization aims to "create attractive higher education that fits the times" and "contribute to vibrant human resources and town development" by actively utilizing the intellectual resources possessed through the cooperation and mutual assistance of higher education institutions in Okayama Prefecture, and by promoting close collaboration with local communities and industries. Specifically, 18 universities, some junior colleges, and technical colleges located in Okayama Prefecture collaborate with economic organizations such as Okayama Prefecture, local governments, and the Okayama Association of Corporate Executives (General Incorporated Association) to engage in credit transfers, recurrent education for working adults, and industry-academia-government collaboration activities.
