OAKLAND, CA - June 10, 2026 - Indie developer CI Games announced today that it is bringing its Soulslike action RPG, Lords of the Fallen II, to the Nintendo platform for the first time in series history. As revealed with brutal new gameplay at Nintendo Direct, the long-awaited title will launch on Nintendo Switch 2.

Already confirmed platforms include PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Following the 2023 predecessor's milestone of exceeding 8 million players, CI Games is committed to a 'player-first' approach, ensuring fans can play on their preferred platform.

Targeting a stable 30 frames per second in both handheld and TV modes, the Nintendo Switch 2 version utilizes Unreal Engine 5, incorporating both Nanite and Lumen technologies. Through close collaboration between the development team, Epic, and Nintendo, the game achieves high-polygon models, fully dynamic global illumination, and dedicated optimizations.

'Our team has been working hard to bring the dark fantasy world and fast, brutal combat of Lords of the Fallen II to Nintendo Switch 2,' said Game Director James Lowe. 'We are very pleased with how the game looks and plays.'

Building on lessons from over 70 post-launch updates for the 2023 title, CI Games aims to make this sequel 'bolder, braver, and bloodier.' The game features an improved combat system, brutal executions, limb dismemberment, expanded enemy rosters, dynamic boss battles, co-op play with shared progress, and an immersive Umbral realm.

Lords of the Fallen II is available for wishlist on all platforms. The game is developed by CI Games with global package and retail support provided by PLAION.
