Cierpa & Company Signs UN Global Compact, Registered as a Participating Company

Cierpa & Company Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Jun Sugimoto; hereinafter 'Cierpa') has signed the United Nations Global Compact (hereinafter 'UNGC') and was registered as a participating company as of May 5, 2026. Simultaneously, Cierpa has joined the Global Compact Network Japan (hereinafter 'GCNJ'), a network composed of Japanese member companies and organizations that have signed the UNGC.

The UNGC is an international framework that calls on companies and organizations worldwide to align their operations and strategies with ten principles in the four areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, and to take action to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting the practice of responsible management.

Cierpa holds the vision to 'realize a world where profit and sustainability merge,' aiming for a world where corporate and financial activities are naturally linked to the improvement of the environment and society. In March 2026, the company established its materiality (key issues), positioning the 'provision of a sustainability data platform' as the highest priority issue. They are building a platform that integrates and visualizes diverse sustainability information to support the decision-making of companies and investors.

Following its support for the ten principles of the UNGC, Cierpa will further strengthen its materiality initiatives that support its business foundation and fulfill its responsibilities as a business operator while striving for growth as a sustainable social infrastructure.
