To promote the 'Fujieda Pottery Village Concept,' Professor Emeritus Nobuyuki Fujiwara of Tokyo University of the Arts, an expert in glass art, will join Fujieda City as a Regional Revitalization Cooperator. Leveraging his extensive experience and network, he will support artist-in-residence projects, engage in craft creation such as glass, pottery, and metal casting, and work toward establishing craft hubs. This initiative marks the first step toward creating a region where diverse artists gather to produce new works. An appointment ceremony will be held on June 2.
