A workshop that focuses on traditional handcrafts such as "knitting" and "weaving" using old clothes as material, aiming to reconnect people's memories and communities. Participants will tear up old clothes they bring, knit them by hand, and create small fabric pieces. The works created by the participants will later be joined together to form one large artwork, which will be exhibited at the museum from late November.

Artist Profile Yuki Okawa (Sculptor) Graduated from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music. Creates three-dimensional works using old clothes and fabric as materials that carry the closest memories of life and traces of time on the body. Creates artworks as new, unknown memories in the "form" of arbitrarily connecting someone's memories with someone else's. In recent years, taking the opportunity to participate in art festivals and artist-in-residence programs, she has been exploring the development of expression based on local history and festivals.
