Ichihara City, Chiba to Host the 11th Ichihara Eco-Festa

Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, will host the "11th Ichihara Eco-Festa," an event designed to deepen understanding and interest in the environment, including environmental conservation and the promotion of the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), and to inspire proactive eco-friendly actions through workshops, hands-on programs, stage events, and factory tours.

Factory Tour Participants will tour the recycling process of familiar items, focusing on automobile dismantling. Special experiences are also planned. - Tour location: River Co., Ltd. (Appliance and other recycling factory) - Date and Time: Saturday, June 6, 9:30 AM - 12:15 PM and 12:15 PM - 3:00 PM - Meeting/Dismissal Point: Rotary at Ario Ichihara - Capacity: 30 people per session (a lottery will be held if oversubscribed) - Application: Fill out the application form by Friday, May 22.

Outdoor and Indoor Exhibitions Citizen groups, companies, schools, and government bodies will present and demonstrate their environmental conservation and 3R activities, showcasing their daily efforts and achievements.

Exhibition of Award-Winning Works from the FY2026 "Environmental Conservation Promotion Picture-Letter Exhibition" Award-winning entries from the exhibition will be displayed.
