Ichihara City to Host "Positive Parenting Support Seminar" on May 30 to Foster Children's Self-Confidence

As children grow, parents often face concerns and anxieties regarding their children's interpersonal relationships and social integration. Questions such as "What kind of relationships are they building?" or "Are they facing difficulties at school?" are common among guardians.

This upcoming seminar focuses on practical methods to cultivate "confidence" and "competence" within the home—essential qualities for children to thrive as themselves in school and society. The session will be led by Kaori Matsuoka, a seasoned expert in child support and education.

Lecturer: Ms. Kaori Matsuoka (Director, NPO TripleP Japan) Former TripleP International dissemination consultant and chief counselor for the Miura City Happy Parenting Support Group. She has extensive experience in supporting parents and children across early childhood, school age, and adolescence, and frequently conducts seminars for corporations and educational institutions.

Participation Fee: Free

Target Audience: Parents, guardians, and professionals in childcare or education.

Capacity: 60 participants (first-come, first-served basis). *Please note that children are not permitted to accompany participants during the seminar.
