[Iruma City, Saitama] Drawing a "Future Forecast Map of Iruma" 100 Years from Now Based on Citizens' "Likes" - Recruiting Child Committee Members for "Children's Future Council"!

Iruma City (Mayor: Riichiro Sugishima) is advancing the "Project of Iruma's Likes We Want to Leave for 100 Years" to collect citizens' "favorite things about Iruma" and connect them to future city planning, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the city's incorporation this coming November. As part of this project, we are recruiting "Child Committee Members" to hold the "Children's Future Council," starring elementary school students in the city.

This council is a citizen-participatory future co-creation project where children take the lead in discussing "what we want to leave behind 100 years from now" and "what kind of future we want to create" based on the voices of citizens expressing "what they like about Iruma City," ultimately "drawing the Iruma City of 100 years from now as a 'Future Forecast Map'."

The application deadline is Wednesday, May 20, 2026, via the dedicated application form.

About 1 hour from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
