The Kakogawa Tourism Association in Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture (Mayor: Yasuhiro Okada), will host a 'Katsumeshi Day' promotional event on May 29th at the civic lobby of the new Kakogawa City Hall building.

At this event, Kota Kyoyama, a naniwabushi narrator from Kakogawa who was appointed as a Kakogawa Tourism Ambassador in August 2025, will introduce 'Katsumeshi'—a local gourmet dish loved for over 70 years and recognized as a '100-Year Food' by the Agency for Cultural Affairs—through a special performance titled 'That Delicious Katsumeshi Once More.'
