Located in the northeastern part of Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, 'Mitoro Fruit Park' offers fruit harvesting experiences throughout the year. The park now begins its plum harvesting experience, which is available for only about two weeks each year.

Every year, Mitoro Fruit Park offers plum harvesting experiences around the time of the rainy season.

While most commercially sold plums are harvested before full ripening and mature during distribution, the plums at this orchard are harvested only after fully ripening on the tree. This results in significantly better flavor and allows visitors to enjoy them at their peak freshness.

Due to this dependence on weather conditions, the harvesting experience and direct sales are only available during this short period. As a result, many visitors come from distant areas such as Osaka and Wakayama, making it a highly popular annual event.
