On April 1st, an appointment ceremony for 28 new employees was held in the main conference room on the 7th floor of Kawanishi City Hall (12-1 Chuo-cho, Kawanishi City).

During the ceremony, the names of the new employees, including administrative and technical staff, childcare teachers, and firefighters, were read out, and letters of appointment were presented to representatives by the appointing authorities.

Following this, Kawanishi Mayor Kenjiro Koshida delivered an address, and a representative of the new employees read a pledge.

In his address, Mayor Koshida said, 'I want this to be a workplace where you, the people working for Kawanishi City, feel happy yourselves. The work of a public servant is to be useful to citizens, and above all, the most important thing is "sincerity." Even if you fail, you will grow by facing the citizens with sincerity and continuing to improve.'

Additionally, the representative of the new employees stood before the podium and pledged, 'As a local public servant, I swear to perform my duties sincerely and fairly for the development of Kawanishi City and as a servant of the whole.'
