In Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture, a special viewing was held on May 18 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Miyagawa Stone Tool Museum, drawing 218 visitors. The facility is a private museum established in 1936 by Mr. Yuitsu Miyagawa, who was concerned about the potential loss of precious artifacts like Yayoi pottery and stone tools from the Kamo Ruins. The museum's collection centers on about 5,000 artifacts from the middle Yayoi period gathered from the site. Visitors, including university experts, praised the private effort to preserve such a vast collection and the museum's historical atmosphere. The current fourth-generation director, Noriko Miyagawa, expressed her joy at the large turnout and her commitment to continuing the family's legacy. Regular visits are possible but require a prior reservation.
