The Takatsu Ward Office will host an opera performance of the children's literature "Naita Aka Oni" (The Crying Red Ogre) by Hirosuke Hamada on Saturday, August 1st, 2026. Admission is free for children (from age 0 up to 6th grade elementary).

This performance is part of the "Children's Music Culture Experience Project," which provides opportunities for children to encounter authentic music culture. The stage features instructors from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. This marks the 15th anniversary of the event, which has been held annually since 2011.

From preschoolers to adults, audiences can enjoy a full-scale opera experience to sing, laugh, and cry with the red ogre.
