In Maizuru City, in light of the increasing burden on daily life due to prolonged price hikes, the 'Student Life Support Package' project will be implemented with the aim of supporting students living away from home outside the city and fostering local affection.

This project aims to support students' lives by sending them local Maizuru products (worth 10,000 yen), which are tastes of their hometown, and to create opportunities to deepen their love for their hometown. Applications will be accepted online and via dedicated forms starting Saturday, April 11, 2026.

【Project Outline】 1. Eligibility Requirements ・Must be a student living outside the city, away from their parents. ・As of April 1, 2026, the student's guardian must be registered as a resident in Maizuru City. ※The following students are not eligible: those living with guardians, those studying abroad, students of schools where salaries are paid (e.g., National Defense Academy, Japan Coast Guard Academy), students of various schools, and working adults.

2. Items to be sent A assortment of 5kg of rice, nikujaga (meat and potato stew), navy curry, sweets, etc. (worth 10,000 yen)

3. Applicant Student's guardian (if the guardian cannot apply due to circumstances, the student or an agent may apply)

4. Application Method Online application or submission of application documents (at the counter or by mail) by Sunday, May 31, 2026.
