Maizuru City, in collaboration with the Maizuru City Culture Association, will hold the 'Culture Fair'—an event where elementary and junior high school students can experience various cultural arts—on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Maizuru City General Cultural Hall.

[Event Purpose and Background] This event aims to provide an opportunity to nurture the rich sensibilities of the next generation of students. This year, a total of 14 types of workshops have been prepared, covering everything from traditional Japanese culture to contemporary arts and a special Uzbekistan lecture commemorating the city's sister-city partnership. Students can select and attend multiple workshops as long as the schedules do not overlap.
