Gender Equality Week Commemorative Lecture: "Is AI Really Fair?" - Bias Hidden in Data and Our Future
Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, will hold a lecture to commemorate "Gender Equality Week."
"Gender Equality Week" was established by the Cabinet Office to deepen public understanding of a gender-equal society, marking the promulgation and enforcement of the Basic Act for a Gender-Equal Society.
AI is becoming increasingly familiar in our daily lives.
While AI may appear convenient and fair, biases can arise depending on the data used.
This lecture will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of how AI works and the influence of "bias" hidden in our daily lives.
"Is AI really fair?" "How should we interact with AI?" We invite you to join us in thinking about these questions.
In addition to the in-person lecture, an on-demand stream will be available for viewing later.
