Naruto City in Tokushima Prefecture is inviting designs for its 2026 'Naruto City Awa Odori' official poster through a public competition utilizing generative AI. The winning entry will be adopted as the official poster and awarded a 30,000 yen JCB gift card along with Naruto City's local specialties.

This year, designs for the 'Naruto City Awa Odori' poster will be openly solicited from the public. As a new initiative, we will hold a poster contest that encourages participants to use generative AI for their designs, widely inviting submissions from everyone.

Period Monday, May 11, to Sunday, May 31, Reiwa 8 (2026)

Production Method Poster artworks must be created using generative AI. *No restrictions on the tools used. Human additions and edits are also permitted.

Application Method Submit the application form (one per artwork) and two types of design data—PDF and JPEG—via email or CD to the Naruto Awa Odori Executive Committee Secretariat (within the City Tourism Promotion Division). *Each person can submit up to 5 entries.

Judging The Naruto Awa Odori Executive Committee will conduct a comprehensive review based on thematic relevance, visibility, originality, and other criteria.

Awards ・Grand Prize (1 winner): Adoption as the official poster + 30,000 yen JCB Gift Card + Naruto City local specialties ・Excellence Award (several winners): 10,000 yen JCB Gift Card + Naruto City local specialties
