Okayama City has launched the recruitment process for the 'Okayama City Cloud Service Implementation Support PROJECT,' designed to provide strong support for the digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

In this project, experts will provide comprehensive support tailored to each company's current situation, covering everything from reviewing business processes to selecting, implementing, and establishing cloud services. This hands-on support will be provided free of charge from August 2026 to February 2027, with two sessions per month (one in-person visit and one online session).

Furthermore, the 30 companies participating in this project will be eligible for a cloud implementation subsidy. The subsidy covers up to 400,000 JPY with a subsidy rate of 2/3, applicable to initial implementation costs (including paid support) and licensing fees through February 2027.

The application period runs from May 18, 2026 (Mon), to July 24, 2026 (Fri). Eligible companies must be SMEs with their head office or a major business facility located in Okayama City.

A 'Pre-briefing & Cloud Utilization Seminar' will be held on July 8, 2026 (Wed), at Mori no Machi Grace to explain the project details and introduce the benefits of cloud services and AI use cases. The deadline for seminar registration is July 1 (Wed), with a capacity of 60 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Details and applications are available on the official Okayama City website.
