The international road bike race 'Tour of Japan' (known as TOJ), featuring 16 teams (7 international and 9 domestic) and about 100 riders competing over 8 consecutive days, is coming to Sagamihara again this year.

This marks the 6th Sagamihara stage. Following last year, Amano Corporation will serve as the top partner for the event, titled 'AMANO Sagamihara Stage,' scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, the 7th day of the tournament.

The 112.3km course starts at Hashimoto Park, loops through the lush Tsukui region, and finishes at Toriihara Fureai no Yakata by Lake Miyagase, offering a blend of urban and natural landscapes.

The home team, 'TEAM UKYO,' aiming for their 5th consecutive 'Individual Overall Time Award,' will compete. There will be food stalls at the finish venue, Toriihara Fureai no Yakata. Come and see the exciting race in person.

- Home Team & Stage Ambassador Home Team: TEAM UKYO Established in 2012 by former F1 driver and Sagamihara City Honorary Tourism Goodwill Ambassador, Ukyo Katayama. Their base camp is in the Fujino district of Midori-ku. Stage Ambassador: Sho Hatsuyama (former pro road racer from Sagamihara City). He will provide commentary during the live stream on the day.

- Spectator Spots Three spectator spots located along the course (Kushikawa Regional Center, Toriya Regional Center, and Toriihara Fureai no Yakata) will offer food stalls, public viewing, and workshops for children.
