Takasago City endorses April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is the dream of 'Takasago City'.

Takasago City has set 'Takasago: A city where life is vibrant, the future is exciting, and smiles and compassion are nurtured' as its future vision, and is currently promoting the '5th Takasago City Comprehensive Plan, Late-Stage Basic Plan'. Our big dream is to create a city where every citizen can genuinely feel 'I want to achieve my dreams in this city' through the accomplishment of this plan.

To create a state where every single person living, working, and studying in this city believes in their own potential and can genuinely feel 'excited' about the future. This is the biggest 'dream' that Takasago City holds.

Currently, the city hall is exhibiting 'Dream Cherry Blossoms' collected from citizens.

The realization of 'a city where people enjoy, connect, and thrive,' as envisioned in the Comprehensive Plan, requires the power of the citizens' 'dreams.' 'Putting dreams into words' is a courageous first step towards realizing them. Takasago City is a partner supporting these challenges, and the city of Takasago itself is earnestly aiming to become a 'hub for dreams' where everyone can shine in their own way and openly talk about their dreams. By 2030, based on the spirit of the SDGs, Takasago City will become a place full of smiles where all generations walk together with hope, leaving no one behind. The dream we speak of today will never end as a lie. We declare here that we will continue to move forward step by step with passion, together with our citizens, so that one day it will surely blossom as a full-blown 'reality'.
