Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture, has newly introduced the "Mirai Kyosei Disaster Relief Map" (Saikyu Map) as a tool for collecting evacuation shelter information and disaster information during disasters.

This system can be used from smartphones, personal computers, etc., and during disasters, it allows users to check the opening status and congestion of evacuation shelters, the number of evacuees, and the operational status of lifelines.

In normal times, it can also be used to check hazard maps and the distance to evacuation shelters, contributing to the improvement of daily disaster prevention awareness.

Main information that can be checked on the "Saikyu Map":

- Confirm the location of evacuation shelters on the map - Check the opening status and congestion of evacuation shelters (4 stages: vacant, half full, crowded, full) - Tap (click) the evacuation shelter icon to check the number of evacuees at the shelter - Check the operational status of lifelines at evacuation shelters (electricity, water, gas, communication) - Check hazard maps - Check dangerous areas such as road closures during disasters
