Toyonaka City is engaged in various initiatives to promote "Easy Japanese," a communication method that is easy for foreigners to understand and facilitates clear information transmission for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. These initiatives include distributing original texts and holding workshops. Currently, approximately 8,700 foreign nationals reside in Toyonaka City, increasing the need for "Easy Japanese." To further promote "Easy Japanese," a PR song titled "A World Where Kindness Spreads" has been produced in cooperation with the light music club of Osaka Prefectural Sakurazuka High School. Additionally, a video based on the real-life experiences of members of the Foreign Residents' Council* has been released to further raise awareness.

* A council aimed at gathering opinions from foreign residents with registered addresses and reflecting them in city administration to promote the creation of a city where everyone, including foreign residents, can live comfortably.
