Call for Participants: Children for the 2026 World Triathlon Yokohama!

For the 2026 World Triathlon Yokohama, we are implementing two initiatives for children: (1) 'Kids Programs' (involving children in event operations such as award ceremonies and press experiences to feel the excitement of a world-class event) and (2) 'Family FUN Run' (allowing parents and children to experience the same running course as top athletes). We look forward to many applications as children can gain valuable learning experiences by engaging with this world-class event!

(1) Kids Programs: Since the first event in 2009, we have provided opportunities for children to gain 'dreams' and 'hope'. Some participants have even gone on to compete in the Paralympics. The 2026 event will continue this tradition. Activities include 'Child Sports Reporter', 'Cheering Kids', 'Escort Kids', 'Gift Kids', 'Aid Kids', and 'MC Kids'.

(2) Family FUN Run: A fun run for parents and children on the urban triathlon course. Before the run, a 'Running Class' will be held at the Red Brick Warehouse, featuring Nobuharu Asahara, a silver medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
