Yokohama City and RX Japan Ltd. will jointly host a new international circular economy exhibition in Yokohama starting in 2027 (Organizer: RX Japan Ltd., Special Cooperation: Yokohama City). The goal is to create an unprecedented large-scale international exhibition where domestic and international companies can showcase solutions and conduct business negotiations, using the city as a venue for implementing circular economy policies and technologies. 2027 is the perfect timing as the Yokohama Green Expo will be held, drawing global attention to the city. Therefore, Yokohama City will hold the International Circular Economy Exhibition and an international conference themed on circular cities simultaneously as "Yokohama Circular Week 2027" between August 30 and September 3, 2027. By bringing together various global stakeholders related to the circular economy, the city aims to maximize the synergy with the Yokohama Green Expo. The exhibition is scheduled for August 31 to September 2, 2027, at Pacifico Yokohama. It will consist of five areas: Circular City EXPO, Sustainable Material EXPO, Recycle Tech EXPO, Circular Energy EXPO, and Industrial Water Circulation EXPO. It expects 350 exhibitors and approximately 30,000 attendees. RX Japan is Japan's largest exhibition organizer, hosting over 100 events annually with a global presence in 19 countries. Yokohama City is promoting the "Yokohama Circular Link" initiative to achieve a sustainable city from both environmental and economic perspectives. Both parties signed a partnership agreement on March 31, 2026.
