Yokohama City operates the Yokohama City SDGs Certification System “Y-SDGs” with the aim of certifying businesses that actively work toward achieving the SDGs, promoting a shift to sustainable management and operations, expanding new customers and business partners, and further linking to investment decisions such as ESG investment.
The 16th Yokohama City SDGs Certification System “Y-SDGs” recruitment has started. We look forward to your applications. Please note that there will be only one recruitment this fiscal year.

Register as a member on the Yokohama SDGs Design Center website, log in, and apply from the “Y-SDGs Certification System” on your My Page under [New Application].

〇 Seminars / Individual Consultation (Optional)
Seminars explaining key points for application and individual consultation sessions will be held for businesses wishing to obtain Y-SDGs certification.
Seminar: July 23 (Thu) and 27 (Mon), 2026
Consultation: July 30 (Thu), August 4 (Tue), and 5 (Wed), 2026
Application deadline: The day before each seminar/consultation date

〇 Evaluation is based on 30 items in four areas: ESGL (Environment, Society, Governance, Local). Certification is granted in three levels according to achievement. Currently, 904 businesses have been certified.
