Sustainable Energy Tour to be Held by the Nine Metropolitan Areas!

1. Purpose

The Nine Metropolitan Areas (Saitama Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo Metropolis, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama City, Kawasaki City, Chiba City, Saitama City, and Sagamihara City) will conduct a day-trip bus tour called the 'Sustainable Energy Tour' for elementary school students and their guardians. The goal is to help residents understand decarbonization as a personal responsibility by learning about renewable energy and hydrogen.

2. Event Overview

(1) 'Future Energy Discovery Day Tour – Unveiling the Secrets of Hydrogen and the Environment'

August 13 (Thu), 14 (Fri), 19 (Wed), and 21 (Fri), 2026

(2) 'Future Energy LAB Day Tour – Deep Research into the Secrets of Hydrogen'

August 19 (Wed) and 20 (Thu), 2026

* Capacity: 40 participants per departure point for each date.

3. Target Participants

Elementary school students and their guardians residing, studying, or working within the Nine Metropolitan Areas.

4. Fees

Free of charge

* Participants are responsible for round-trip transportation costs to the meeting point and meal expenses.
