Renewal of Company Uniforms and Introduction of Business Casual Policy

CKD Corporation (Headquarters: Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Katsuhito Okuoka) is fully renewing its company uniforms to incorporate functionality and comfort suited to the current era, with the goal of improving the workplace environment. At the same time, the company is introducing a business casual policy that allows employees to work in casual attire. Implementation will begin sequentially starting in May 2026, including domestic group companies.

To ensure employee feedback was incorporated into the uniform renewal, a project team of approximately 30 representatives from six domestic factories and three group companies was formed. Over the course of approximately 1.5 years, the team conducted surveys of all employees and verified samples on-site, focusing on enhancing safety, functionality, and design.

2. Key Features of the Uniforms

In addition to renewing winter/summer long-sleeve jackets, summer short-sleeve jackets, all-season trousers, and hats, the company has introduced polo shirts in response to employee requests.

[Safety and Functionality] - Highly breathable and quick-drying polo shirts to strengthen heatstroke prevention measures during summer. - Adoption of antistatic, flame-retardant stretch fabric to improve ease of movement. - Strategic placement of reflective materials for visibility in low-light areas and pocket configuration tailored for carry-on items.
