With the mission of "Bringing medical care to anywhere," Cloud Doctor Inc. (hereinafter, Cloud Doctor) has partnered with Digital Hollywood University (hereinafter, DHU) to launch the "Digital Medical" demonstration experiment on July 1, 2026, utilizing Cloud Doctor's "Dokodemo Shinryojo" (Clinic Anywhere) online medical care solution for facilities.

In this demonstration experiment, DHU's "Health Office Connected to Doctors" will be implemented using Cloud Doctor's "Dokodemo Shinryojo" solution. By providing online medical access within the campus health office, the experiment will demonstrate that 24/7 medical care in "familiar spaces" can become a new organizational infrastructure, leading to improved learning environment quality, reduced commuting burden and waiting times for students and staff, and support for foreign students experiencing illness with multilingual support (86 languages).

[Experiment Overview]

Experiment Period and Target Audience

July 1, 2026 - August 31, 2026 Based on the results during the verification period, continuation and expansion will be considered. Target Audience: All students and faculty/staff of Digital Hollywood University

Medical Services: DHU will not conduct medical procedures as the primary entity. Cloud Doctor is a matching service between doctors and patients, and medical services will be provided by the medical institutions to which each doctor belongs.

Background of the Experiment

The collaboration between the two companies began with the question of whether the challenges faced by educational institutions, such as the following, could be resolved by incorporating medical access within facilities using online medical care:

Lack of Medical Access: No medical services on campus, potentially delaying emergency response.

Cost of Supporting International Students: Increased workload for health office staff due to language support during illness and accompanying them to appointments.

Decreased Productivity: Cases where academic and work activities are disrupted due to waiting times for medical appointments and pharmacies.

With the implementation of Cloud Doctor's "Dokodemo Shinryojo" in DHU's campus health office and break areas, the aforementioned issues will be addressed simultaneously.

[Future Outlook for Cloud Doctor]

Through this experiment, Cloud Doctor aims to shift medical care from a "special service for emergencies" to "infrastructure for everyday spaces." By integrating medical access into "familiar spaces" such as schools and workplaces, we are confident that it will improve the overall productivity and wellness of the organization, creating new organizational value.

[Comment from Digital Hollywood University]

Digital Hollywood University President Naotaka Fujii

"To fulfill the world." With this mission, our university addresses the improvement of internal value and problem-solving through diverse approaches. We agreed with Cloud Doctor's proposal to "place access to medical care in familiar spaces" and decided to proceed with the experimental introduction to verify improvements in student and staff satisfaction and operational efficiency.

By establishing a medical consultation spot on campus, individuals can receive a doctor's consultation and pick up medication on the spot when feeling unwell. Multilingual support allows international students to consult in their native language, which also reduces the burden on staff. We hope this will lead to increased satisfaction for students and staff through reduced commuting burdens and decreased workload for support staff.
