Excrie Inc., a Cross Marketing Group company, conducted a survey on shopping choice fatigue among 1,800 people aged 15-69 in Japan. The results show 46.5% have experienced choice fatigue, with women exceeding 50% across all age groups. The main causes are "too many product types/choices" (42.2%) and "not wanting to fail or regret" (41.9%). When tired of choosing, 31.4% opt for cheaper products. Over 80% don't want to make mistakes when shopping. While younger people prefer taking recommendations, those over 40 prioritize shopping efficiency.
