Wafer Shifter (旺矽) reported its March revenue at NT$1.388 billion, up 5.5% month-on-month and 38.6% year-on-year, marking the second-highest monthly revenue. Its first-quarter revenue reached NT$3.93 billion, a 39% increase year-on-year and surpassing the previous quarter's NT$3.836 billion, setting a new quarterly record. The company attributes this growth to sustained high demand for AI chips and advanced semiconductor testing. Lead times for probe cards have extended to six months, and order visibility extends up to two years for certain products. To meet this demand, Wafer Shifter is investing NT$2 billion in expanding its production capacity. By the end of the year, the capacity for MEMS probe cards and Vertical Probe Cards (VPC) is projected to increase by 50% compared to 2025. The company noted a continuous influx of urgent orders for Cantilever Probe Cards (CPC), with a book-to-bill ratio greater than 1. VPC probe card production has been operating at full capacity since the second half of 2025, a situation expected to continue through the third quarter of the current year.
