Central News Agency (Taipei, 27th) Asia Optical Chairman Lai Yi-jen stated that the company's operations in the second half of the year look promising. Asia Optical continues to deepen its strategic partnership with US-based Frore Systems, collaborating on the development of key metal components for liquid cooling plates in AI data centers. Mass production is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year at the new plant in the Philippines, targeting the AI data center liquid cooling market. Asia Optical held its 2026 annual general meeting today, approving the 2025 business report and financial statements. In 2025, the company's consolidated revenue reached NT$26.446 billion, with a net profit of approximately NT$1.843 billion and earnings per share (EPS) of NT$6.6, marking a decade-high in both revenue and profit. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of NT$4.6 per share. Lai pointed out that Asia Optical is leveraging its precision manufacturing advantages to expand into the data center sector. The company is also pushing three major development opportunities: promoting lenses for humanoid robots, accelerating R&D for AR, VR, Metalens, and AI applications, and ensuring the smooth production of its new overseas manufacturing base.
