TFC Pivots to Semiconductor Waste Sulfuric Acid Recovery; Blue Ammonia Shipments Expected to Grow

TFC Chairman Chang Tsang-lang stated at the shareholder meeting that while the industry is polarizing, TFC is actively transforming by entering the semiconductor waste sulfuric acid recovery business. Low-carbon blue ammonia, required for semiconductor manufacturing, began shipping last year, and volume is expected to grow significantly this year as semiconductor clients complete their certifications. TFC is also accelerating the development of its land in Hsinchu, aiming to transform it into a 'Hsinchu Tech Business Park.' Regarding the fertilizer business, the company is actively seeking government subsidies and increasing the sales ratio of higher-margin products to mitigate losses.
