June Taiwan index futures closed at 44,798, up 934 points, representing a positive basis of 541.2 points compared to the spot market. The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the nearest two-month index futures contracts at 43,864 for June and 43,864 for July. The total turnover for the Taiwan stock market today reached NT$1.556844 trillion. June futures saw a trading volume of 83,826 contracts, while July futures closed at 44,800, up 936 points, with 771 contracts traded.
