Eslite to Open Second Japanese Store in Osaka's Namba District

Central News Agency, Taipei, May 28. After an eight-year hiatus, Eslite Spectrum is expanding in Japan again. Chairwoman Mercy Wu announced that Eslite will partner with Marui Group and Japanese bookstore chain Yurindo to open a new location in Namba Marui, Osaka, by 2027. Namba Marui is located near Namba Station, a major transit hub with millions of visitors, and is close to tourist hotspots like Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Eslite previously entered the Japanese market in 2019 in Tokyo and expanded to Kuala Lumpur in 2022.
