The 'Jin Tian Award - National High School Student Astronomy Photography Contest' has expanded to a nationwide event for the first time this year, open to all high school, vocational, and five-year junior college students. The organizers, the National Science and Technology Museum and Kaohsiung Municipal Cianjhen Senior High School, stated that the competition includes categories for fixed photography, tracking photography, and thematic recording. Submissions are open until the 31st, with prizes including smart telescopes. Founder Huang Yi-zhan emphasized that astronomy photography is a learning process combining scientific inquiry and aesthetic expression. Winning works will be exhibited at the museum during the summer.
